Dearborn County Idol

Junior and Senior Divisions

Junior Division Competition will be Tuesday, June 23 at 7:30pm

You must be between the ages of 9 through 17

Senior Division will be Thursday, June 25 at 7:30pm.

Must be 18 & older.

Anyone wanting to participate must drop off or mail a tape or cd to

The Purdue Extension Office, 229 Main St, Aurora, IN  47001, no later then June 1.

The First Place Junior Division will get $100, Second Place will get $75, and Third Place $50.

The First Place Senior Division will get $300, Second Place will get $200, and Third Place will get $100.00.

The criteria we will be judging on is:

Personality & Poise (Confidence-smile-showmanship)

Execution & Originality

Rhythm & Sound (timing-style-musical range – choice of music)

Costume (appropriate-fit-appearance)

General Impression

10 points will be possible in all categories.

*Songs in Junior category cannot contain any lyrics regarding drinking, smoking or drugs.

**Previous winners not eligible.
